My friend Kathy and I went out to photograph wild flowers this morning. Virginia bluebells, Dutchman's breeches, green-and-gold, narrow leaf spring beauty, fiddlehead ferns and more! If you want to see Spring wild flowers, visit the North tract of the Patuxent Wildlife Refuge off Rte. 198 in Laurel, Maryland. Fields of bluebells. Very beautiful and peaceful (except when the planes fly over). Calming. Relaxing. Beautiful. Go see for yourself.
See more wildflower photos from our walk, go to Gallery, Wildflowers.
The photo of the White Throat Sparrow has been given a watercolor treatment, I hope you like it.
